This layer was developed using field observations to classify stream banks into four erosion categories for Squalicum Creek and it's tributaries. Erosion categories were classified based on bank incisement, soil composition and vegetation cover into the following categories:Armored: Bank types with bank armoring in place. High: Bank types with high erosion potential or those which are actively eroding.Medium: Bank types with medium erosion potential.Low: Bank types with low erosion potential. |
